Details

Whether you're into steep, techy stuff or flowy, high-speed jump trails, Trek's Slash 9 650B slays it all. The Alpha aluminum frame houses a 142x12mm rear axle, Full Floater and ABP rear suspensions, and an E2 head tube, resulting in an all-mountain bike with the chops of a freeride rig and the pedaling ability of a lighter weight trail machine. To achieve this, 160mm of travel is supplied by a Fox 34 Talas up front and a DRCV-equipped Float out back, both with CTD damping. The rest of the specs are spot-on with tubeless-ready wheels, a carbon bar, 1x11 gearing and X0 Trail brakes. You also get a Reverb Stealth dropper post to keep your flow going.

**DEMO MODEL**
Demo bikes are used bikes at a killer price. They have been on Trek's regional demo truck for a year. They are then overhauled by us and any broken or warn out parts are replaced. The bikes are sold with a full warranty and you are the first owner of the bicycle.

**DEMOS HAVE NOT CURRENTLY BEEN OVERHAULED AND ARE NOT READY TO TAKE HOME. BUT THEY CAN BE RESERVED WITH A DEPOSIT. WE WILL UPDATE WHEN THEY ARE IN STORE AND READY TO BE TAKEN HOME**

Trek's EVO link
Trek's EVO rocker link is a one-piece, magnesium linkage that drastically increases rear-end stiffness and decreases total frame weight, too.

Trek’s premium lightweight aluminum is continuously cold extruded and butted at multiple points for ultimate weight reduction and superior strength. Frames built with Trek’s Alpha Platinum aluminum are hydroformed to create the most sophisticated shapes for the lightest weight, and are finished using their smooth-weld process.

Trek's E2 head tube is 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom and 1 1/8 inches at the top. This maximizes front-end stiffness for awesome steering precision and control, while allowing the use of standard 1 1/8-inch stems and not adding much weight.

For a clean dropper post setup, Trek uses RockShox’s Reverb Stealth dropper seatpost and internal frame routing. The housing runs inside the frame for a clean look and zero hose issues as the saddle moves up and down.

For every full-suspension mountain bike that they sell, Trek donates $10 to the IMBA to help build new trails. Join the IMBA today!
